The fifth of eight children, Michelle was raised in a large working class neighborhood where reading became an early and constant passion. Her love of a good story eventually led to a career in acting. Her formal training included the University of Minnesota (BFA  Acting Program) and American Conservatory Theatre (MFA Acting Program). She has had the pleasure of performing everything from the classics to live interactive theatre and has enjoyed over thirty years of doing voice over for radio and TV. She raised her three children in St. Paul where she has also read to school children each week for over twenty years.  She wrote a critically acclaimed solo show about growing up working class poor, performing some two dozen characters. She is professional Guide on historic tours throughout the Twin Cities.
